A two-day virtual training on RTI Act, 2005 was organised by the General Administration Department (GAD) of the Administration of UT Ladakh at NIELIT Leh on February 22. 

The objective of the training was to enhance the capacities of officers/officials of UT Ladakh. A total of 33 officers and officials working at the UT Secretariat took part in the training. Participants from Kargil attended the meeting through video conferencing

Master trainer, legal & human resource expert, Mahabir Singh Kasana from New Delhi, was the resource person for the training.

Mahabir gave a detailed presentation on the tenets of the RTI Act, 2005, and its implementation.
