Free educational tablets under Youn Tab Scheme were distributed among the students of class 7th and 8th of the GMS Goungma Saliskote on October 1.

The tablets with pre-loaded educational contents were provided to the students under the YounTab Scheme of the Department of Education UT Ladakh.

Mohd Sajjad Khan ( representing VC Mohd Ali Khan), Headmaster Middle school Goungma Saliskote lauded the proactive step of UT administration and stressed the students to make the best use of the tabs and value the efforts of the administration.

"Nothing is for free, somebody is paying for what you are getting for free", he stated.

While appreciating the efforts of the teachers of Goungma school he thanked them for teaching the students so well that they have the potential to compete with the private school students.

Headmaster GMS, Goungma Saliskote, Aga Syed Hussain said that any student can be a great personality in future and all they need to do is value their time and make the best use of the technology.

He thanked the UT administration for providing the tablets to the deprived students and digitally connecting the far-flung areas of Ladakh.

Further, he urged the parents to check their wards whether they are using it for educational purposes or not.
