Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Shakar Chiktan, AG Zargar visited Hagnis village on January 11 and assessed local issues.

At Hagnis Brok, SDM Zargar addressed the issue of dumped materials on the roadside. He assured the community of redressing concerns related to compensation for lands utilized in road construction under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).

The residents of Hagnis expressed their gratitude to the SDM for his visit and assuring them that their concerns would be taken seriously.

Among the issues raised by the villagers was the damage to an irrigation canal, resulting in harm to both property and irrigation lands. The SDM assured to look into the matter.

During the visit, SDM Zargar also appreciated the efforts of Manzoor Numberdar, who played a pivotal role in converting his heritage home into a museum. This initiative not only promotes tourism but also contributes significantly to cultural preservation.
