Scientific Advisory Committee meeting of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Nyoma (Leh-II) headed by Vice-Chancellor SKUAST-K, Prof Nazir Ahmad convened through video conferencing on August 27.

Last year's progress report/action taken and action plan for the upcoming year of KVK Nyoma was discussed in detail. The participants gave their inputs and valuable suggestions regarding animal husbandry, vegetable cultivation, food preservation, fodder cultivation among others.

EC Agriculture, Phuntsog Stanzin; Director Extension SKUAST-K, Prof. Mushtak Ahmad; head of the departments, representatives of line departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, CAZRI-RRS Leh, HMAARI-SKUAST-K Leh, KVK Leh & Kargil and scientific staff of KVK Nyoma were also present. 

The programme was presented by Programme Coordinator KVK, Nyoma, Dr. Jigmet Yangchan.
