Review meeting for 4th edition of Khelo India Winter Games held
Advisor, Dr Pawan Kotwal reviewed the preparation for the 4th Edition of the Khelo India Winter Games at the Civil Secretariat, Leh on January 30.
The meeting focused on evaluating the preparations and ensuring that all necessary arrangements were in place for the successful conduct of the prestigious sporting event in Leh. The meeting explored key aspects such as infrastructure readiness, accommodation facilities, security arrangements, and coordination among various stakeholders involved in hosting the Winter Games.
The establishment of dedicated task forces and the implementation of safety protocols to ensure the well-being of participants and attendees were discussed.
Advisor Dr Pawan Kotwal emphasised the importance of creating a world-class environment for the participants and praised the dedicated efforts of the organising committee and various departments involved in the preparations. He reiterated the need for meticulous planning and effective execution to ensure a world-class sporting spectacle that reflects the spirit of Ladakh and its commitment to fostering a culture of sports excellence.
In addition to the logistical aspects, discussions also focused on logistical arrangements, infrastructure development, participant accommodation, and the overall enhancement of the sporting experience for both athletes and spectators.
