Padma Dolkar receives Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar
Chairman/CEC of LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, attended a felicitation ceremony at Shenam Community Hall on November 27 to honor Padma Dolkar, the recipient of the prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar.
The event was graced by Councillor Phunstog Nurboo, President of DCC Leh Rigzen Namgyal, Padma Shri awardees Morup Namgyal and Tsering Namgyal, President of Ladakh Theatre Organisation Mipham Otsal, Dorjey Stakmo, Goba of Wanla village, local artists, and the relatives and friends of Padma Dolkar, among other prominent personalities.
CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson congratulated Padma Dolkar, her family, and friends on her remarkable achievement, extending his best wishes for her future endeavors. He emphasized that the youth of Ladakh possess immense potential to represent the region at the national level. He further noted that Padma Dolkar serves as an inspiration for young people in Ladakh to excel in their respective fields.
Adv. Gyalson reiterated LAHDC Leh's commitment to supporting Padma Dolkar and other talented individuals, encouraging their growth and success in their respective domains.
During the ceremony, the CEC and other dignitaries felicitated Padma Dolkar and participated in a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate her achievement.
In her address, Padma Dolkar shared her journey to receiving the Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her mentors for their invaluable guidance and support.
