NYK Kargil ignites youth vision for future Bharat through declamation contest
Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kargil organised a district-level Declamation Contest with the theme "MYBharat-Viksit Bharat@2047: By the Youth, For the Youth" at the Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture, and Language Hall in Kargil on January 10.
The event was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Kargil, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, bringing together over 50 enthusiastic youth from Kargil district who passionately shared insightful visions and ideas for a developed Bharat during a dynamic and engaging exchange.
Jigmat Spaldon, District Youth Officer, emphasised the crucial role of youth in achieving the goal of a developed Bharat and highlighted the necessity of their active involvement in the nation's development.
The jury members for the event included Coordinator Culture from SAMAGRAH Education Department, Syed Sajjad; Women Scientist from KVK Kargil, Dr. Rinchen Dolkar; and Assistant Professor, Syed Mustafa.
The results of the declamation contest were as follows: Zahra Batool of Poyen won the first prize, Zareena Khanam's team Stringmo secured the second position, and Shehnaz Fatima from Umba Sankoo emerged as the third prize winner.
The district-level winner will have the opportunity to participate virtually in the upcoming State Level Competition, marking a significant step forward in recognising and promoting the voices of the youth in shaping the future of Bharat.
