New Ladakh Movement (NLM) felicitated SNM hospital for the Kaya Kalp award the hospital has recently bagged for its services.  

NLM believes that only the government system can deliver quality services for all - rich and poor, rural and urban.

In this spirit, a team of NLM led by Chief Convener Sonam Wangchuk, visited SNM Hospital to felicitate the entire medical fraternity for the Kaya Kalp award. Nearly 200 SNM staff including safaiwalas, paramedics and doctors was individually felicitated with khataks in presence of Medical Superintendent Dr. P Wangchuk and Matron T. Yangskit.

The team later met the Chief Medical Officer, Yangchan Dolma and congratulated her for the achievement. Sonam Wangchuk said SNM is an inspiration and a pride for the whole of Ladakh region. 

 

“SNM is among the best hospitals I have seen across the world and I hope that medical services in the entire region will become an example for the country in the days to come,” said  Wangchuk while expressing gratitude to medical fraternity for the efficient service delivery.
