A total of 112 out of 132 cases of different natures including Civil, Criminal, Recovery, Matrimonial, Maintenance, Labour cases and others were settled during the National Lok Adalat day on December 14 at District Court Complex Leh.
 
Award of ₹ 1lakh, recovery of ₹38,000 and fine of ₹71,400 were also recovered.

The Lok Adalat was organised under the supervision of Principal District & Session Judge Leh, Ranbir Singh Jasrotia also the Chairman, District Legal Service Authority Leh.
 
Two benches were constituted wherein one bench comprised of R.S. Jasrotia, Principal District & Session Judge, Leh, and M.S. Lassu, Advocate, President Bar Association, Leh. The second bench comprised of B.A. Munshi, Sub Judge/CJM, Leh and Spalzes Angmo, Secretary, DLSA, Leh.
