The Hill Council, Leh has provided financial assistance of ₹20 lakh to the Ashoka Mission, New Delhi, and discussed the upcoming super-specialist camp to be held in Leh.

The meeting was attended by Thupstan Chhewang (President of Ashoka Mission and former MP), Tashi Motup Kau (General Secretary), Tsering Angchuk (Deputy Chairman of LAHDC Leh), and Tashi Namgail Yakzee (Executive Councillor for RDD).

In light of the challenging circumstances faced by patients with complex diseases, the Ashoka Mission has been a leading supporter, particularly for those from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
