Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve reviewed the physical and financial performance under the District Capex Budget (CD Normal. DOP, CCDF, United Grants, Others Departmental works) in the Conference Hall DC office, Leh on January 9.

During the session, concerned officers presented an overview of their performance, focusing on the utilization of funds for various developmental works in rural areas within the Leh district. Deputy Commissioner, Sukhadeve emphasized the importance of efficient expenditure implementation to foster the development of rural regions.

Similarly, specific attention was given to the percentage of beneficiaries benefiting from Centrally Sponsored Schemes such as MGNREGA, PM Vishwakarma, Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), and the progress of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

DC Leh set a deadline for officers to submit their expenditure data before January 15, urging them to ensure timely completion of important projects. In addition, he directed officers to guarantee the provision of minimum basic needs across rural areas and emphasised the importance of working with sincerity and honesty.

The meeting witnessed the participation of key officials, including the Chief Planning Officer, Executive Engineer REW, District Panchayat Officer, and all Block Development Officers, along with AEE/JEs from all blocks.
