Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a meeting at the conference hall on January 20 to review preparations for the 75th Republic Day celebration.

During the meeting, all concerned officers provided updates on the progress made in preparing for Republic Day celebrations. DC Leh instructed officers to ensure thorough preparation leading up to January 26. He specifically directed the Chief Education Officer, Leh, to oversee the well-being of students participating in the Republic Day parade.

Additionally, DC Leh directed officers from the Culture Department to coordinate with cultural troops, and the Chief Agriculture Officer, Leh, to provide updates on decorations. He emphasised the importance of officers promptly informing him of any issues arising during the preparations. 

The meeting saw the participation of key officials, including the Chief Engineer of PWD, Ladakh; Chief Engineer of PDD, Ladakh; SP Traffic, Ladakh; SE PWD (R&B), Leh; SE PDD, Leh; SE PHE, Leh; ACR Leh; CEO Leh; CAO, Leh; Chief Controller of Finance, LAHDC, Leh; Deputy Secretary, Culture Academy, Leh; Tehsildar, Leh; Headquarter Assistant to DC Leh; Under Secretary, Civil Aviation, UT Ladakh; and other concerned officers.
