Land dispute arises between locals and army in Achinathang

KHALTSE :
A dispute over a piece of land arises between the locals and Army on November 12 in Achinathang village.
Sachin Kumar Vaishya, SDM Khaltse under Section 144 of J&K Cr. P.C. ordered the continuation of restriction over the land for further 8 weeks with effect from April 28, 2018. The ordered was issued with the possibility of deterioration of law and order situation.
The restrictions include no construction, demolition or other kinds of activities upon the said land beside prohibition on public gathering.
Sachin Kumar Vaishya ordered both civilian and military population of the said village to strictly comply with the order without any exemption. If found violating the order, they shall be liable for punishment under section 188 of RPC.
The dispute arose on November 12, 2017. On the basis of reports from Revenue and Police officials, the SDM vide order No: SDMK-02(misil) Rev/2017-349-55 dated: March 1, 2018, has passed a prohibitory order under section 144.
