Ladakh University under  Anti-Corruption Bureau scanner for  alleged financial misuse

The Anti-Corruption Bureau / Vigilance, Ladakh, carried out a joint surprise check at the Ladakh University Campus, Taru-Thang, following allegations of the misuse of official positions and government funds.

Under the directives of Chief Vigilance Officer Dr. Pawan Kotwal and Superintendent of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau/ Vigilance Ladakh,  Piyush Fulzele (IPS), the operation was led by Inspector Jigmet Singay Wangdus. The team also included SI Welayat Ali, SI Chuskit Angmo, and ASI Konchok Dorji.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau team conducted raids at the university premises, during which they seized a significant number of documents related to past financial transactions. These included purchase records and stock details, which will be subject to further investigation.
