Hill Council, Leh to have partnership with KC Group Nawashar Punjab

With the initiative of the Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Leh Rigzin Spalbar, Rs. 2000 crore KC Group of Nawashar Punjab is visiting Ladakh from 13th April to 17th April to discuss the opportunities and perspectives in the education and hospitality sectors in Ladakh. In this regard, the representatives of KC Group will give a presentation on 15th April, at Council Secretariat at 11:00am.
The KC Group is involved in education since 1999 and presently has two campus in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh with over 8,000 students.
The LAHDC, Leh proposes to have partnership with KC Group in three sectors; firstly, training in Ladakh for Class 12th poor Ladakhi students from government schools for all-India Entrance Examinations in Engineering, Management, National Defense Academy etc, secondly, Admission of poor Ladakhi students from government schools to the KC Group Institutes in Nawashahr ( Punjab) and Una ( Himachal Pradesh) for undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Computers, Business, Engineering, tourism, hospitality sectors, Nursing etc under the various schemes of the Central Government and concomitant coaching of final year university students for All-India Civil Service Examinations.
Thirdly, the establishment of a satellite campus in Leh for the benefit of those students who cannot afford to pursue courses outside Ladakh.
