The Higher Secondary School Chuchot Village Education Committee Chairman Mohd Baqir Cho, Ghulam Abbas Abidi, Councillor Chuchot, Ghulam Saidin Minority Councillor and sarpanches of all the six Panchayat Halqas of Chuchot Block met CEC LAHDC Rigzin Spalbar on 15 April with an application regarding various inadequate facilities at Higher Secondary School Chuchot Shamma.

They raised the following issues:

1. Since last two years there is no lecturer for three important subjects Chemistry, Botany and Mathematics in Higher Secondary School Chuchot Shamma. There is no appointment being done so far in this regard which is affecting the career of the students.

2. The senior wing of NCC which is presently enrolled of more than 70 students, which plays a major role in the personality development of the students is about to be shifted to some other place which will affect the students in coming years.

3. The Administrative Block of the school is not completed due to lack of funds. Presently the Administrative office is functioning from the academic building since the inception of the school. The school is also having a very poor sports infrastructure which is also affecting the physical development of the students.

The village Education Committee also thanked all lecturers of the school who spared their precious time to give extra classes and remedial classes to all the students that helped them to perform well in their respective examination.
