Helpage India organises one-day medical camp
Helpage India organised a medical camp for elders at community hall of Housing Colony, Leh on January 14 marking a significant initiative in healthcare outreach.
The camp witnessed the diligent efforts of five specialists – orthopedic, ENT, urologist, physician, and ophthalmologist who collectively conducted thorough health checkups for more than 200 patients.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Diskit Dolma inaugurated the camp.
CMO, Dr. Dolma expressed sincere commendation for Helpage India's commitment to organizing such dedicated healthcare initiatives, especially tailored for the elderly. She pointed out the significance of these camps in addressing the healthcare needs of the elderly age group.
Additionally, Dr. Dolma expressed gratitude and anticipation for continued collaboration with Helpage India, extending support for future endeavours aimed at providing essential medical services to the elderly community.
