Govt. Degree College Khaltse launches second batch of Life Skills 2.0 course

Following the successful completion of its inaugural batch last year, Govt. Degree College Khaltse, under the leadership of Principal Prof. Stanzin Yangdol, launched the second batch of the “21st Century Employability Skills” course, titled Life Skills (Jeevan Kaushal) 2.0 on September 2.

The Life Skills (Jeevan Kaushal) 2.0 course is offered by the Wadhwani Foundation in collaboration with the Higher Education Department of UT Ladakh. This three-month (90-hour) course aims to equip students with essential employability skills, including communication, teamwork, customer centricity, attitude and behavioral skills, problem-solving, workplace awareness, and interview techniques. Additionally, the course delves into advanced topics such as Customer-Managed Relationships (CMR), Digital Marketing, and Artificial Intelligence.

During the launch, course trainers Dr. Amjad Khan and Stanzin Stamdin emphasized the importance of the program, urging students to fully engage with the content and complete the exercises diligently to maximize their learning.

Principal Prof. Stanzin Yangdol congratulated the second batch of students, encouraging them to take the course seriously. She assured them that this well-structured program would significantly enhance their fundamental skills, better preparing them for various competitive exams shortly.

A total of 12 students have enrolled in the course.
