GDC Kargil launches short-term training courses in hand embroidery, graphic design
Government Degree College Kargil launched free short-term training courses under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 Scheme on January 10.
The college is granted the status of a skill hub to conduct two short-term training courses in Traditional Hand Embroiderer and Graphic Designer, especially for the non-college, school dropout, and unemployed youth of the region.
CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Mohd Jaffer Akhoon launched the two courses and interacted with the trainees.
Superintendent ITI, Mohammad Kazim; Nodal Officer Sankoo Campus, Dr Saleem Ahmed, faculty members of ITI and GDC Kargil as well as the trainees were present.
The launch was followed by an interactive program where the trainers, Syed Rohullah, Graphic Designing Centre, and Zainab Banoo, Traditional Hand Embroidery Centre highlighted the objectives and aims of the training courses.
Mohd Kazim Superintendent ITI Kargil and CEC Dr Jaffer addressed the audience with their valuable insight on the promising courses conducted at the GDC Kargil.
