Educators in Leh receive training in Foundational Literacy and Numeracy

A comprehensive training program for Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) teachers was inaugurated at DIET Leh starting from 2 to 4 September in collaboration with CEO Office Leh and Nanritam Education West Bengal on September 3.

The initiative aims to equip educators with innovative teaching methods and strategies to enhance Foundational Numeracy and Literacy among educators.

The three-day FLN training program will focus on providing teachers with hands-on experience and effective pedagogical approaches to help students build strong foundational skills. In addition to the FLN training a two-day specialized training session is being organized for Math and Science teachers of Class 6th to 8th on 6th and 7th September 2024. This training will cover effective classroom strategies, innovative teaching methods and ways to enhance student engagement in these critical subjects.

Moreover, a focus Math training session will be conducted for class 10th Math teachers from 2nd September to 4th September 2024 to guide them in preparing their students for the upcoming board exam. The workshop will include advanced problem-solving techniques, tips for effective exam preparation and strategies to improve overall students’ performance.
