An order regarding scaling down of Zangsti and Spituk containment zone was issued by Chairman District Disaster Management Authority / District Magistrate Leh, Sachin Kumar Vaishya on May 29.

The order reads, “Due to non-reporting of any COVID-19 positive case after the passage of 28 days from the Zangsti and Spituk Containment Zone, the containment shall now be restricted only to the houses where the cases were reported.”

Tehsildar, Leh was asked for immediate necessary arrangements to de-contain the rest of the area.
