District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Leh observed Anti-Tobacco Day at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Leh on May 31.

The programme was attended by Assistant Legal Aid Defence Counsel ((ALADC), Phuntsog Stobgyal, students of JNV, Leh, DLSA staff, and Para Legal Volunteers. 

Speakers on the occasion were Advocate Phuntsog Stobgyal, Malika Aziz, Stanzin Nedon and Mujtaba Abidi of DLSA, Leh. 

Malika Aziz, Stanzin Nedon and Mujtaba Abidi presented a skit on No Tobacco and also sensitized the students about COTPA Act, 2003. 

Additionally, ALADC, Phuntsog Stobgyal spoke on the NDPS Act, 1985 and a questionnaire session with the students took place at the end.
