District police Leh in collaboration with SDRF Leh organized a one-day career counseling for the students of Boys Higher Secondary School Leh on 02 May 2015 at their school premises.

SSP Dr. Sunil Gupta gave a detailed presentation about various career options for the students after class 12. He highlighted about the prerequisite to fight for any competition and ways to achieve them. “Dedication and determination, sufficient labour in the right direction and a little bit of luck is the ultimate key to success”, he said.

Inspector Tsewang Dorje highlighted about the Youth Club formed by District police Leh in 2012. The main aim of this club is to involve the youth to help police in detecting, preventing and eradicating crime from, Leh. He added that the youth can utilize the internet and books available at the youth club. NCC students can use internet and subscribe books free of cost, he said.

Phuntsog Angchuk, Sub Inspector briefed the students about the Role of Civil Defense and SDRF and also gave a demonstration on First Aid.
