An interaction session was convened with Sargun Shukla, SSP with the retired Police Officers of Leh on April 24 at Police Line, Choglamsar.

 

Around 30 retired police personnel addressed their issue and were enquired about their welfare.

Suraj Singh, Dy. SP Hqr. Leh, Sonam Dorjay, Dy. SP, Dar, Mohd Aslam Mir, Dy. SP, Armed were also present.

P Sonam retired Addl. SP, who is now the President of Retired Police Welfare Association put forth several concerns and grievances. He sought SSP’s support to resolve them.

 

Many individual issues also came into limelight and discussed for bringing a possible solution. 

Sargun Shukla assured to look into all their genuine grievances and address all that can be done at the level of the district police officer and also take up needed issues to the higher authorities. 

District Police Leh also assured to convene such meetings at regular intervals.
