SP Kargil Shailendra Mishra while interacting with delegations of all Vehicle Union of Kargil including Presidents of Bus Union, Truck Union, Mini- Bus Union, Mini-Truck Union, Taxi Union and Eeco/ Van Union in his office chamber on 3rd February announced that district police Kargil will distribute free mask to drivers of Kargil very soon.

The delegation apprised SP Kargil about various problems being faced by them, prominent among them being parking for buses and private vehicles in main market.

Shailendra Mishra gave a patient hearing to their grievances and assured his full cooperation for a safer and smoother traffic regulation. He stressed them to obey traffic rules properly to ensure safety of the drivers as well as the passengers. He also invited the drivers to participate largely in the Free Medical Camp that is to be organized on 4th March by District Police Kargil.

Since the drivers keeps on traveling from Leh to Kargil frequently, so awareness on Swine Flu shall be conducted for them. SP Shailendra Mishra also assured strict action against corrupt policemen. Later, the delegation thanked SP Kargil, Shailendra Mishra,  IPS for his positive approach and cooperation.
