DC, Leh, discusses implementation of Viksit Bharat Yatra
Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve discussed the implementation of Viksit Bharat Yatra to achieve saturation of the flagship scheme at the DC mini conference hall on November 6.
He informed that the Viksit Bharat Yatra will be launched on November 15 and the aim of Viksit Bharat Yatra is to create awareness and popularize the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS).
During the meeting, he discussed the various schemes for Rural and Urban awareness. Various Heads of Departments provide insights and updates on the status of various schemes including Ayushman Bharat- PMJAY, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojna, PM Ujjwala Yojna, PM Kissan Saman, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Urban), Khelo India, PM Mudra Loan etc.
Further, it was informed that Mobile IEC Vans will be provided by the Government. These vans will travel to Rural and Urban areas, disseminating information through audio- visuals, and other mediums in regional languages. Besides, recorded messages of the Prime Minister will be telecast through these vans.
He directed all the concerned HoDs to create awareness and saturation on various schemes in vibrant villages.
