Deputy Commissioner Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) today, June 21, at the VC Room, DC Office, Leh.

A total of 109 time-bound promotions and 3 compassionate appointments under SRO-43 were approved during the meeting. This included 89 promotions in the Education Department, 11 in the Revenue Department, and 9 in the PDD Department.

DC Leh emphasized the importance of timely submission of SRO 43 and compassionate appointment cases to provide timely relief to the families of government employees who pass away while in service.

Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner directed all Heads of Departments (HoDs) to ensure prompt submission of promotion cases to streamline human resource management across Government Departments.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Director of Employment, Leh, Delex Namgyal, Assistant Commissioner of Revenue, Leh, Shabir Hussain, and respective Heads of Departments.
