Community Development Block office inaugurated in Wanla

A new Community Development Block office was inaugurated by Dr. Sonam Dawa, CEC on November 27 at Wanla.
Congratulating the people of Wanla, Dr. Dawa said that with the function of the office, developmental activities in the area will gain a new pace in all respect. He reiterated that the Council priority is to serve people of Singhey-Lalok area who deserve facilities and service.
He urged upon the Rural Development functionaries to run the office immediately with required staff.
He also directed the functionaries of NHPC and the engineers of PDC to conduct early testing of transmission lines to Wanla and ensure power supply to the region well before Losar festival.
Regarding the six vacant posts of teaching staff at High School Wanla and two on attachment, Dr. Dawa called up the concerned authority to get the attached teachers back in two days.
On demand of allopathic dispensary, CEC assured to take up the matter with the higher authorities.
Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Spokesperson, BJP highlighted some of the important people welfare schemes such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Beti Bachao-Beti Padao Yojana and Ujwala Yojana.
