Cleanliness drive carries out at Industrial Estate, Leh

With an aim to sensitize and create awareness about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan among the unit-holders of Industrial Estate, Leh, a cleanliness drive was organised inside the Industrial Estate, Leh by District Industries Centre Leh in collaboration with Municipal Committee, Leh on November 28.
The General Manager DIC Leh along with other officers of DIC at the behest of Chemet Namgyal, General Secretary Chamber of Industries Leh also inspected some of the food-based units.
Instructions were given to the unit-holders to maintain proper hygiene system inside the factory unit.
The General Manager also instructed the unit holders that they should dump their Industrial Waste outside their unit premises at a conspicuous place for easy collection and pick up by Municipal Tipper for which a particular day will be fixed in consultation with the Municipal Committee.
