CHC Khaltse conducts mobile medical unit camp at Ursi village

The Community Health Center (CHC), Khaltse, organized a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) camp at Ursi village in Singaylalok block under the supervision of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dr. Shamim Ahmad on February 6.
The medical team included Medical Officer Dr. Adnan Shah, Dental Surgeon Dr. Nilza Angmo, NCD Counselor Toldan, Laboratory Assistant Sonam Thinlay, and FMPHW RBSK Padma Dolker.
The camp primarily focused on screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as hypertension, diabetes, malnutrition, and anemia. The objective was to facilitate early detection and timely intervention, improving overall health outcomes for the local community.
A total of 49 patients attended the camp, including 28 general OPD patients and 21 dental OPD patients. Additionally, 49 NCD screenings were conducted, along with 53 laboratory tests.
This initiative underscores the commitment of the Block Medical Officer, Khaltse, to ensuring accessible healthcare, particularly in remote areas.
