CEC Tashi Gyalson reviews preparations at Shradhanjali Park ahead of unveiling ceremony

Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson, conducted an inspection visit to Shradhanjali Park at Spituk on May 14 to review the ongoing preparations for the upcoming unveiling ceremony in honour of the 19th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche.

During the visit, CEC Gyalson undertook a detailed review of key components of the site development, including landscaping, statue installation, and other infrastructure arrangements. He directed all concerned departments to monitor the progress daily and ensure timely completion of all works ahead of the scheduled ceremony.

Stressing the significance of the occasion, he urged officials to maintain seamless coordination and expedite all necessary actions without delays.

CEC Gyalson also informed that the plantation work at the park is being undertaken by Power Grid Corporation in collaboration with the Horticulture Department. He highlighted that Power Grid will continue to support the project under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, ensuring sustained cooperation for the region's benefit.

He was accompanied by the Superintending Engineer, PWD Circle Leh; Deputy Secretary, Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Leh; Tehsildar, Leh; Executive Engineers of the Public Health and Engineering Division, Roads and Buildings Division, and Electric Distribution Division, Leh; Project Director, Ladakh Renewable Energy Development Agency (LREDA), Leh; Senior General Manager, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, Leh; President and representatives of the Bakula Memorial Trust; and the Nambardar of Spituk.
