CEC of LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, along with Executive Councillors Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, Ghulam Mehdi, and Adv. Stanzin Chosphel, led a delegation of BJP elected councillors and met BJP National General Secretary (Organisation), B.L. Santosh, at the party headquarters in New Delhi on April 25.

During the meeting, the delegation discussed a range of important issues, including strengthening the party organisation in Ladakh, addressing concerns regarding gazetted employment opportunities, and other region-specific matters.

Later, the delegation also met BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh to deliberate on various aspects of Ladakh’s regional development and economic growth. They extended a warm invitation to both B.L. Santosh and Tarun Chugh to visit Ladakh for the upcoming unveiling ceremony of the statue of the 19th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche.

The delegation expressed heartfelt gratitude to both leaders for their continued support to the Union Territory of Ladakh and briefed them on the developmental activities undertaken over the past five years.

Councillors present during the meetings included Lobzang Sherab, Tsering Sangdup, Karma Namdak, Sonam Norboo, Stanzin Chosphel, Eshey Spalzang, Mirza Hussain, Dr. Morup Dorjey, and Thinles Norboo.
