Advisor Narula visits Kargil for three days

Advisor Umang Narula on a three-day tour to Kargil district visited Drass Sub-Division on July 19.

He interacted with various delegations of Mushkow valley and adjoining villages. The delegation demanded the installation of mobile towers in the area, macadamization of link roads, and opening up of Mushkow valley for domestic & foreign tourists. 

Umang Narula said that UT Administration is fully committed to address the developmental needs and grievances of the people living in the villages.

He took stock of the screening activities being carried out at the COVID-19 screening point at Meenamarg. Expressing satisfaction on the overall arrangements and screening activities, he asked the screening team to continue the good work with professionalism and alertness to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

Umang Narula also visited Drass War Memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil War. 

Later, he reviewed the ongoing developmental activities in the district and discussed it with Feroz Ahmed Khan, CEC, Hill Council, Kargil, and Baseer-ul-Haq Choudhary, DC, Kargil.
