ADDC Leh reviews progress of MGNREGA and NRLM
The Additional District Development Commissioner, Leh, Sonam Nurboo reviewed the progress of MGNREGA and NRLM, Leh on June 25 at DC Conference Hall.
The meeting focussed on the progress of projects of MGNREGA in the vibrant villages and the developments achieved by NRLM in these villages.
Sonam Nurboo reviewed the progress in each of the blocks with the assigned Block Development Officers advising them to supervise the projects sanctioned from the initial stages so that all the parameters required can be implemented at the onset of the project. He also instructed them to complete the pending projects at the earliest and update the progress on the online portal as well.
Additionally, he instructed the BDOs to update the area officer app inspection on a timely basis by conducting their respective NREGA site inspection.
The District Programme Manager, NRLM, Leh presented a detailed presentation on the progress of Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission, Leh, UT Ladakh. The presentation included the details of the Self-Help Groups (SHGs) that have been created in different blocks under the mission. She added that different SHGs focus on developing different products which have been showcased on national level platforms, giving them an opportunity of exposure and financial aid.
Further, the presentation also included different trainings provided to SHGs which included leather bag training, integrated farming land identification and a two days training on community resource person.
