Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and E-Learning training for the teachers and masters for eight-days was commenced on April 17 at National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Leh.

The training was organised in association with District Administration and Education Department.

Around 70 teachers and masters from various government schools of Leh District participated. The trainees were taught about the ICT tools and equipment to be used in the schools.

The training was meant to empower the teachers in the field of ICT as NIELIT in collaboration with J&K Government has already implemented smart classrooms in 17 schools in Leh district and 19 schools in Kargil districts in its 1st phase.

Joint Director, Education Ladakh, DD NIELIT, CEO Education, ZEO Nubra, Staff of NIELIT were present on the occasion
