The Animal Birth Control (ABC) and Anti-Rabies (AR) team from the Animal Husbandry Department, Leh, conducted a five-day ABC & AR camp in Kayray village from April 16 to 20, 2025.

Held in the military area of the village, the camp witnessed the dedicated team sterilize and vaccinate 246 stray dogs against rabies. The initiative marked a significant step toward improving public health and promoting animal welfare in the region.
