19 prospective entrepreneurs get land for industrial unit set-up in Phyang

The land allotment committee allotted land for the 19 prospective entrepreneurs at Industrial Estate, Phyang in a meeting held on November 14 in Leh.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Avny Lavasa, DC and land allotment committee members including Superintendent Engineer, PWD and PDD, Leh, Divisional Forest Officer/Nodal Officer, PCB, Leh, Chief Planning Officer, Leh and General Manager, District Industries Centre, Leh.

A total of 32 prospective entrepreneurs applied land allotment at Industrial Estate, Phyang. The Committee approved 19 cases of project ₹1305.00 lakh which will generate 228 employment to the locals.
 
The consideration of 11 new Steel Fabrication units was deferred for the next phase of allotment committee meeting which may take place after three months.

The committee decided for a proper assessment of the existing steel Fabrication units in whose favor land has already been allotted in Industrial Estates Leh, Phyang, and Khaltsi.
