'Objectionable' video went viral in Kargil: Accused got bail

\r\n In the wake of increasing immoral activities and defaming values in Kargil, Zainabia Women welfare society, Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust staged a massive protest on August 31 in Kargil. The protest was staged after an alleged pornographic video accused were granted bail by the court.\r\n

\r\nTalking to the media, Fatima Banoo said, “The society, police and administration should respect women. We will not tolerate any kind of women exploitation in our society. Such videos are against human culture, promotes immorality and against Islamic values as well.”\r\n

\r\nOn August 5, Zainabia Women Welfare Society (women wing of IKMT) filed a complaint against that video that went viral which was registered under FIR No. 38-2017 under section 67-AIT Act- 377 RPC at Police Station Kargil.\r\n

\r\n
\r\nTsering Gyalpo, SSP Kargil constituted a Special Investigation Team headed by Dy. SP Ishtiyaq Ahmed Kacho KPS. The team moved to Kashmir on the same day to trace the alleged accused.  After thorough research in Ganderbal district with the help of CDR details, both the accused were arrested on the national highway near Ganderbal Police Station on August 6.\r\n

\r\nHajia Khatija Salehi, Principal Jamia Fatima Zahra condemned the video which got viral in the society and expressed her resentment over the bail issued by the court.\r\n

\r\nNajma Banoo, Principal Boys Higher Secondary school, Kargil said that people of Kargil should wake up against such immoral activities.\r\n

\r\nStudents from different school raising a slogan against the exploitation of women started the protest from Bus Stand which marched through the main market and culminated at Hussaini Park.  \r\n
