Leaders, activists, supporters, and people of the entire Chorbat area including Turtuk, Bogdang, Nakpo Thang, Lchangmar, Chalunkha, Garadi, Tyakshi and Thang villages of Nubra valley lead by its elected Councillor, Gulam Mehdi and Gh. Haider, Chairman BDC Turtuk joined Bharatiya Janata Party on July 30 in presence of Member of Parliament/State President Jamyang Tsering Namgyal.

Leaders and different individuals of the area shared they are delightful towards party policy, “Saab ka Saath, Saab ka Vikas and Saab ka Vishvas.” 

Jamyang Tsering Namgyal assured overall development in the area including Education and Health facilities, Telecommunication and Road Networks, improvement of the rural economy, and other important aspects of development. 

He further assured to deliver all the schemes initiated by the Modi Government and assured early connection of the long pending demand of Turtuk-Hanu road.
