Agah Syed Ahmad sworn in as Councillor for 21-Thangdumbur constituency
Agah Syed Ahmad took the oath as the newly elected councillor of the 21-Thangdumbur constituency in the 5th Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, on October 23.
The oath ceremony, organized by the Election Authority/Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kargil, was held at the Syed Mehdi Auditorium Hall. Malik Shabeer Ahmad, Principal District and Sessions Judge Kargil, administered the oath.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including the Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) of LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon; Executive Councillor for Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Er. Punchok Tashi; Executive Councillor Aga Syed Mujtaba Mussavi; Executive Councillor for Urban Development, Kacho Feroz; Deputy Commissioner/CEO of LAHDC Kargil, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse; councilors, district officers, and dignitaries from both religious and political spheres.
