A webinar highlighting the science of origin of the Himalayas (Ladakh range), the need for conservation, sustainable development, and protection of mountain ecosystema was organised during the International Mountain Day celebration on December 11.

The webinar was organised by Ladakh Science Foundation (LSF). An Online Quiz competition was organised for school students. Sonam Chosphel scored the first position, Munar Ayub second position, and Kaneez Fatima and Tsering Lamo scored third position.
