To celebrate UT Foundation Day, students of Ladakh to perform at Raj Bhawans of various states and UT will showcase Ladakh’s art and culture on October 31.

Full dress rehearsal of students was held at Indoor Stadium, NDS ground on 27 October 2023.

Administrative Secretary Tourism and Culture, Kacho Mehboob Ali Khan, addressed the students and stated to showcase the rich tradition and culture of Ladakh in different states and be confident.

Stanzin Chosphel, Executive Councillor Agriculture expressed his views by stating to the students that they have got a great opportunity to represent UT Ladakh in different Raj Bhawan and also to grab new experiences.

The officials also flagged off the students along with their teachers to northeastern states.

Deputy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk highlighted the student's capability to learn new instruments like “Kopong “including junglu and dance in mere days.
The officials urged the students to exhibit their best talents and present Ladakh with pride and excellence. They also commended the trainers for their exceptional guidance and training to the students.

Other dignitaries including Executive Councillor Minority/Forest, Ghulam Mehdi; Secretary Cultural Academy,Tsewang Paljor were also present.
