Palam road near Agling is flooded with water from Indus River and the resident are in lurch. They have gathered near Palam bridge to raise the issue on August 23. The villagers are forced to cross the waterlogged road. 

Tsewang Norboo, Sarpanch along with the villagers raised the issue with the Construction Division.

He further informed that he had requested District administration many times before but no heed was paid on this issue.

While visiting the site, Ghulam Abbass, AEE Construction Division assured to prepare a report and send it to higher authorities. 

The villagers informed that they are facing crisis every year.

"It is a huge challenge for the children and old people to cross the river daily," said Rigzin Dolker. 

The residents are hoping that the administration will help them in this. It is affecting the daily activities of the villagers. They are demanding for a better road.
