Ice Hockey training held in Changthang

Strengthening the civil-military relations in this border area a 17 day winter sports training camp was organized by the 5 Ladakh Scouts from 29 November to 15 December at Tangtse.

The camp was organized under the aegis of Fire & Fury Corps as Op Sadhbhavana activity for which requisite infrastructure and administrative support was provided by Fire & Fury Corps.

The camp was held to train the local youths in Ice Hockey and Ice Skating, the winter sports of Ladakh region.

Over 21 Boys from Changthang region were trained in basic skills in Ice Hockey and Ice Skating, including figure skating and speed skating.
