University of Ladakh, Kargil Campus celebrates World Theatre Day
The Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages Kargil, in collaboration with the University of Ladakh, Kargil Campus, celebrated World Theatre Day at the Auditorium Hall of the university campus on March 27.
Dr. Jaffer Ali Khan, Senior Assistant Professor from the Sociology Department, and Dr. Mohd Taqi, Assistant Professor from the Geography Department, along with all faculty members, praised Kacho Ahmed Ali, Founder of the RANTHAG Theatre Group, and his team for their efforts in promoting engagement in such creative and innovative activities.
The RANTHAG Theatre Group presented the play "AMAA's KAL" (Mother's Share), creatively addressing a deeply rooted social concern contributing to familial division.
This collaboration between the Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages and the University of Ladakh, Kargil Campus, reaffirmed their dedication to promoting art and culture in the region.
World Theatre Day 2024 provided a platform for fostering cultural exchange and dialogue, enriching the community, and nurturing future generations of theatre enthusiasts.
