Three-day training session for entrepreneurs concludes in Kargil
The three-day training session for entrepreneurs, organised by the District Industries Centre (DIC) Kargil in collaboration with the Quality Council of India (QCI) concluded at the Auditorium Hall, Kargil on March 18.
The program aimed to empower local entrepreneurs with the knowledge of packaging (FSSR-2018) and labeling (FSSR-2020) requirements for food commodities.
Trainer Shubah Tripathi from QCI spoke about entrepreneurship, emphasizing the significance of food packaging and labeling. She provided valuable guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs and highlighted the role of packaging in product presentation and consumer appeal, along with discussing the guidelines of FSSAI and the importance of registration/licencing with FSSAI.
Key highlights of the training session included interactive sessions, discussions on food quality, standards of packaging and labeling for different food items.
Experts from DIC and QCI shared their expertise and best practices, offering invaluable guidance to participants seeking to establish and expand their ventures in the region.
During the event, practical demonstrations for packaging and labeling were also held.
The program was attended by a large number of entrepreneurs and different SHGs from different areas of Kargil district. They expressed gratitude for the opportunity to enhance their skills and network with fellow entrepreneurs.
