Power Grid Corporation of India Limited through its Srinagar Leh Transmission System, Office, Leh donated 1 vaccine delivery van, 7 ice lined refrigerator (small), 6 ice lined refrigerator (large) and 6 deep freezers to the health department, Ladakh. 
 
The equipment is meant to facilitate UT Ladakh in the storage and transportation of COVID vaccine stocks to far-flung areas of the Leh district. 
 
The medical equipment was handed over by Shafat Ahmed, General Manager, Srinagar Leh Transmission System to the Chief Medical Officer, Leh Motup Dorje in presence of Ravinder Kumar, Secretary Energy Ladakh. Similarly, medical equipment was also handed over to the Health Department of Kargil.
 
Sukhdev Singh, Chief Manager, Power Grid, Leh was also present during the program.
