Women Police Station, Kargil in collaboration with the Special Cell for Women conducted the first outreach-cum-awareness program at Karsha Nunnery Gompa on July 4.

A total of 20 participants were present during the session.

SHO Women Police Station Kargil, Disket Ladol informed about the Nunnery and the challenges faced by the women in society and discussed various issues the woman face.

Social Worker from Special Cell, Hassina also told the participants about harassment and gender-based violence faced by women in the society.
