All the National Health Mission (NHM) employees of Kargil district under the banner of All J&K NHM employees association observed complete pen down strike on December 27 in Kargil.

The protest demanded regularisation of their services and urged the concerned minister and concerned authorities for immediate redressal of their demands.

The protesters urged the district administration and local Government to concede the demands at an earliest possible.

A memorandum was submitted to Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil and Executive Councillor for Health and Agriculture LAHDC Kargil with regard to recommendations of service regularization of NHM employees.
