Ladakh Police marks passing out of 224 constables
Ladakh Police marked a significant milestone with the passing out of 224 constables, including 9 jail warders. The ceremony was held at the Delhi Police Academy and witnessed by senior officials from Ladakh Police and Delhi Police Academy, Jharoda Kalan on November 29.
The recruit constables of Ladakh Police after their appointment as a constable in 2022 underwent a 10-month training program at Delhi Police Academy, encompassing physical endurance training, weapons and tactical training, legal procedures, and other police practical policing skills.
Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), head of Ladakh Police, IPS Dr. S.D Singh Jamwal, and other senior officers of Ladakh Police graced the occasion at Delhi Police Training Academy, Jharoda Kalan.
After the culmination of the passing out parade, an interactive session with the Special Commissioner of Police Trainings, Delhi Police ADGP, Ladakh, IPS Dr. S.D Sing Jamwal; Jammu Kashmir Police Service (JKPS), Assistant Inspector General (AIG) (Personnel and Training), Ladakh Police Stanzin Nurboo; Jammu Kashmir Police Service (JKPS), Assistant Inspector General (AIG) (Provision) Police Head Quaters (PHQ) Ladakh, Sonam Dechen with the passed-out recruit constable of Ladakh Police at DPTA.
ADGP, Ladakh appreciated the performance of the Ladakhi recruit trainee constables, noting their discipline, behavior, and outstanding performance in both indoor and outdoor events, and asked them to work with utmost sincerity and dedication. He also conveyed his commendation and thanks to the Delhi Police for their dedication and support throughout their training journey and for imparting training in required policing fields and felicitated Delhi Police training staff/ instructors with mementos of Ladakh Police.
JKPS, AIG (Pers) Stanzin Norboo expressed gratitude to Delhi Police Academy for the opportunity to train at the prestigious academy and imparting excellent training.
